Series documents the studies and proposals of the Planning Board concerning the preservation, management, and development of forest resources. Records include correspondence, maps, black and white photographs, tables, graphs, reports, and surveys. Topics include sustained yield forestry, Port Orford Cedar, stockwater development, legislation, and forest taxation. Most of the records refer to the period from 1934 to 1939, however, some of the research information dates to 1914.
